I was in that area of Mayo today. I loved the couple's smiles & laughter. They clearly had just as good of time playing as we did watching them!

Don’t we all hope for that kind of unity and energy at 90! Wow, I’d like to have it now! Thanks for making my day!

If marriage worked as God intended, the wedding wouldn’t be the high point, but the low point, and these half-century+ marriages would be the ones to admire and celebrate. Just think how much history these two have (and what a bond that forges) after doing life together for 62 years!

Carolyn, what a blessed picture of what marriage ought to be! My husband and I have been married for 34 years and it keeps getting better the older we get! I can’t wait for the 62nd anniversary!

I have been reading and researching the life of Abigail Adams and see a similar picture in her marriage to John. The Biblical picture of one-anothering is evident in all they did together. Until George and Barbara Bush recently celebrated their 54th anniversary, they had been the longest married presidential couple. What an example for us.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful video.
